DRAGONWINGS BOOKSTORE is located inside The Bookcellar at 110 S. Main St. Waupaca, adjoining Little Fat Gretchen’s Cafe.

Our beloved tree has a happy home in the Youth Dept. at the Waupaca Public Library right across the street from Dragonwings.

Dragonwings Hours: Monday-Saturday 10:00 – 4:00.

Dragonwings sells new books for kids of all ages, and games and puzzles for ages 2 – adult. We also feature nature guides and activity books for kids. We love to encourage kids not only to read, but also to get outside and explore our world. Most of our collection is downstairs, and our checkout area is upstairs, right next to our display of Klutz activity books.

The Bookcellar has a fantastic selection of used books for all ages, a wall of used CD’s across many genres, and bins upon bins of used LP’s. They also carry new books, CD’s and LP’s. If you can’t find what you are looking for, just ask, because John and John are happy to share their vast knowledge of music and books.

And if you start feeling hungry, it’s easy to step through the double doors straight into Little Fat Gretchen’s for a sandwich or some pie.

We hope that you will visit soon!

Testimonials

What an incredible treasure Waupaca has. Dragonwings is an such an asset to the children, families, schools, libraries and community in central Wisconsin. In the modest traveling I have don in the US and abroad, I can say that it is very rare to find a shop so authentic and friendly focused only on the children of a small town.
